REPLACEMENT OF NOKIA 5610d-1

I have purchased a nokia 5610d-1 mobile phone on dated 22/08/08.After 4 months, the scrolling button of the phone was broken. At Orissa, I came to know that there is no warranty replacement on the button/cabinet within warranty period at Nokia Care & for that they demanded Rs 450/- for the new replacement. How can i replaced one within the warranty period.

even if they won't informed/mentioned on the pack me earlier about the product's warranty & conditions.
