I purchased a Nokia 5230 handset last month from an authorised dealer in Bangalore. Unfortunately the battery stopped working within one month. I had given the set for service at Nokia Care in Koramangala Bangalore, who had taken the battery for repair. Got it back after 12 days, but the problem persisted. They have now said that the phone is the problem and have taken the phone and it is close to 8 days since my phone is away and I am not confident that the problem will be fixed. A new phone with problems within a month is definitely not what I expected from Nokia. I purchased this brand only with the hope that they are reliable. Sadly this is not the case to be. There is no way for me to esclate the problem in Nokia as all numbers either go to a call centre which is absolutely careless or to an automated mail receipient which generates an auto reply. I need to get to head of customer care at Nokia or even their Managing Director, for they are the people who should know what is happening out there in the field. I hope that through this forum they hear my complaint and find a solution. I will see success only if I know that this mail has been responded by the company officials and that my handset is replaced free of cost with a new handset.
