I gave my mobile phone (model no. 3120) to Infotel Services (IS) at Gariahat just for check-up (job sheet no. 315343506/070906/45), but it started showing different problems after delivery. I then returned to IS for correction. After a huge harassment I was told on 17/10/07 that my mobile was irreparable and hence would be replaced by another phone with 42 days warranty (06/09/07 - 17/10/07). The phone as shown was second hand with many scratches and faded shell. As it was a different phone the offer was not acceptable to me for obvious reasons: without a replacement of a new one and a warranty of one full year.

Thereafter I lodged a complaint to Nokia Careline (2-2KQM51). I was told that my phone would be a new one with one year warranty. When I went to collect my phone at Infotel services they showed me a different phone (engineered?) but with no warranty. When I contacted again Nokia Careline Mr. Vineep Bhatt denied also the warranty. I am being greatly harassed by Infotel Services and also by Mr. Bhatt denying my consumer right. Finally I am told just now by Nokia careline that I will have to collect Nokia model no. 3125 with a warranty from 11/9/06 to 10/9/07. It’s a cheating. Is it not? My phone is still lying with Infotel Services and I am having great trouble without mobile phone. I am interested to know immediately what actions you are going to take.
