MAKING FOOL OF CUSTOMERS

Dear Greviance Officer in charge,
I had bought N-70 on 01.07.2007. I had a display problem on 17.07.2009. I enquired for a rough idea in the local mobile repair shop and I was informed that it will cost Rs.1200/-. But I wanted to get it serviced from the Company service centre. So I contacted a Nokia Care Centre in Frazer Town ie.`Shakthi Communications', M.M. ROAD, FRAZER TOWN, BANG-560 005, on 21.07.2009. When I contacted them, the Customer Service Personal, just took the set inside the workshop to consult the manager there and came and informed me, it will cost Rs.1850/-. I was shocked and enquired about the reason for such a price and she told me that some IC would have got damaged and that is the rate. But somehow I wanted a genuine Product inside my set, so I agreed for the price and took an acknowledgement with a complaint number. On 23.07.2009 evening I went to collect the set with the required money. The delivery boy there, just handed over the mobile and took the cash and said Thank U very politely without giving any receipt. I asked him for the receipt. Then he directed me to the next table to the Customer Service Executive. She, INSTEAD of giving me a SYSTEM GENEREATED RECEIPT, is
writing a manual Receipt. When I asked for the System Bill, she said that this is the receipt they give. I protested and told that this receipt is not an authunticated receipt and that you are cheating the customers. For that she told me that later the amount collected will be keyed in the system. For that I told that Rs.1850/- wont be keyed in the system, instead a very meagre amount will be keyed in. U people should UNDERSTAND that this gives me a DOUBT that THEY ARE CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS LIKE ME BY CHARGING A HEAFTY AMOUNT FOR SERVICING AND CHEATING THE COMPANY i.e. NOKIA, BY KEYING IN ONLY A MEAGRE amount as collected from the customers. THEREBY THEY WILL POCKET THE DIFFERENCE OF CASH AND MAKE A PROFIT FOR THEIR OWN AT OUR COST AND THE COMPANY'S COST.
So, I request the CONCERNED to inspect such SERVICE CENTRES and save YOUR ORGANISATION's REPUTATION AND THEREBY GET AND RETAIN GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CUSTOMERS. Also, I request you to clarify what is the actual amount charged for the Display problem.
One small suggestion, kindly display the approximate charges for the common problems in all the service centres so that many customers will come to your for getting your service and increase your GOODWILL.
