Nokia N73
Hardware Failure

I have purchased new Nokia N73 (IMEI-353548027577254) on 29/10/08 from Kiran Gift Centre, 18, Lower Bazar, Shimla for Rs. 29/10/08. From last month i have noticed that the phone automatically swithces off even when battery is not exhausted. I went to Nokia care Shimla and showed the set to Service Engineer; where he said that some type of liquid has gone into the mobile, due to which it is facing hardware failure and therefore it could not be repaired under warranty.

I was surprised, because i could not take it. My phone never came into the contact of liquid. I live in a place where temparature goes above 40 and when we take any call, sometimes we do see sweat in the phone. It may happen that phone has got liquid in this way... But then I would say Nokia phones in this manner are not at all appropriate for hot weather countries like india.

Sir, All i want is to get my phone repaired under warranty, otherwise i will be constrained to take legal action against the company.

I hope company will take appropriate action and resolve my problem at the earliest.
