Service centre people returned handset in broken condition

Dear Sir,

I, Ashwin Shetti of ADVANTAGE SYSTEMS, Ankola had sent a Nokia N82-1 (IMEI - 358984/01/583269/7) for servicing on 17th of July.

Problem quoted by me was that whenever handset would be switched on, automatically the Camera flash would remain on. i.e.

RED FLASH LIGHT COLOUR would remain on.

When I had sent the handset for servicing to Kumta Service Centre (SAPTAGIRI ENTERPRISES, KUMTA), the set was in absolutely clean condition without even a scratch on its panel. Even the original laminated cover on display was intact.

I recieved the same set in a very pathetic condition. I was really shocked to see this kind of servicing done by such a big company like NOKIA.

1. The DISPLAY was BROKEN from inside.

2. The Front Panel was completely scratched.

3. Panel is not fitted properly.

4. Keypad printed numbers are scratched.

AMAZINGLY BACK PANEL IS IN PERFECT SPOTLESS CONDITION. AND ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL COMPANY LAMINATION STILL INTACT.

On contacting service centre person, I got reply that it was in same DAMAGED condition when they recieved it.

NOW PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT AM I TO DO IN SUCH SITUATION AND WHAT I SHOULD REPLY TO CUSTOMER.

WHAT ACTION WOULD YOU TAKE IN THIS CASE IF YOU WERE IN MY PLACE?

Please help me as i have already sent a mail regarding this to NOKIA ASM. He also forwarded it to his higher authority. and they simply put the blame on me (Retailer).

PLEASE HELP ME.
