Sir,

I with great displeasure would like to submit following few facts for your Consideration.

That, I purchased a Nokia N-97 Mobile phone from M/S Mobile Store, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi on 31/07/09 for Rs. 32399.00

Immediately after the purchase, the phone started giving me trouble as it becomes non-functional every now and then (i.e. software got hanged up or so). I approached the dealer M/S Mobile Store and was told to contact Nokia Service Centre. On contacting, Nokia service centre, Lajpat Nagar, I was told to deposit the phone with service centre for necessary repairs, the mobile phone instrument was returned to me after 2 days with, an assurance that it’s software has been re-loaded and problem has been set right. But to my surprise, the phone started giving me the same trouble. The phone is highly unreliable and becomes non-functional every now & then Immediately on start.

Again, I contacted Nokia service centre on 29/8/09 I was told to deposit the phone as the problem requires it to be sent to company and will take around 15days. Left with no choice, I deposited the phone job sheet No 6409 and arranged another phone as a make-shift arrangement for intervening period.

After a number of calls to Sh. Amit at Nokia service centre, finally the phone was delivered to my representative on 18/09/09. I was surprised and frustrated to see the quality of service rendered as the phone camera shutter is so loose that camera got switched on & off on its own sweet will and a number of scraches can be seen on the protective film. It appears that the phone has been repaired by some road side vender while sitting on a road without any proper infrastructure. The quality of service provided to me was not of quality expected from world No-1 mobile company like you and you know it hurts as it involves my hard earned money on a poor sub-standard product (N-97).

I am deeply hurt and frustrated on account of

a) Poor quality sub-standard phone.

b) Poor quality of after sales service and repair provided by Noika Service centre.

c) Nokia service centre executive Sh. Amit Stopped taking my calls when I was pursuing during repair of phone.

d) Even now, phone is not working properly. And developed the same problem once again even after the second repairs. After the so called thorough repairs carried out by Nokia service centre, one more problem has cropped up as only half of screen is active and rest blanked out. This speaks of the quality of service provided by you. Needless to say, previous problems are still persisting.

In view of the above facts, I sincerely request you to either

• Replace the phone with a brand new phone besides adequate compensation

• Return my money with adequate Compensation and take back the phone in question

In case any of the above requests is not acceptable to you. I will be left with no option but to take legal action against your company and dealer. M/S Mobile Store.
