Sir

I and my spouse having 20 years validity Indian passport which were issued from RPO Ahemdabad.

I come to know that those having such type passport will have to apply for the new having validity of 10 years. I want to travel abroad in short future. Please clerify is this true news? If yes than also please send a guideline for next process.
