1) Purchased 29" Onida TruSlim T.V on 8/6/08.
2) On 16/6/08 T.V became dead, niether picture nor sound
3) On 18th june onida service engineer visited but failed to rectify the defect.
4) On 26th june Shri Kapil Mathur informed that no replacement is available in the warehouse. He informed that he was trying to find out if any dealer a piece. Replacement was sent on 26th june itself.
5) The T.V sent was not factory packed, was in loose packing and was full of dust. Wire were bulging out at the left hand bottom of the T.V.After installation of T.V it failed to function &channels were not changing with remote.
6) Service Engineer visited on 27th june and rectified the efect. The replaced T.V started giving trouble. Picture got elongated both ways, horizontally, verticallyand the picture appeared tilted.
7) Service Engineer visted on 25th &28th July but failed to rectify the defect.
8) contacted Brijesh Shukla and William Sales Executives of Onida Delhi office for replacement but both informed that no replacemt is available any where in India. They promised to refund the cost of the T.V.
9) Afterr few days when I contacted Shree William he informed that no money will be refunded.
10) I contacted the dealer on 29th august who in turn contacted Shree Brijesh Shukla and promised me that he will give me a Samsung T.V of my choice in return of the Onida T.V .
11) Ipaid him Rs.700 as the difference in cost between the 2 T.Vs and he promised to install the T.V on 30th august.
12) When no T.V was delivered upto 20th septenber even though he was having 3 pieces of the model I wanted. I asked him to return my money, which he did promptly.
13) BOTH THE T.VS SUPPLIED BY THE ONIDA COMPANY ARE NOT REALLY 29" T.VS BUT ARE 27".
14) Ihave filled a complaint in the CONSUMER FORUM at Delhi as I was tired of being harassed mentally, physically & financially.
