AutoMeters showing more Fare

Every week i use to travel from Arekere Gate to Forum (Koramangala). If it is a Digital Meter, it shows an amount of 46-50rs. But with the Normal old meters, the meter is showing an amount of 70Rs..

Even though the distance is same, there is a big difference in Digital Meter Reading and the Normal ones.

Before its Night 10pm, they are collecting one and half fare. Especially on weekends and they dont have the display system for auto-driver's name and DL details.

This practice has been on for more than 2 years and I assume that Police would be aware of this. If the govt feels that auto-meter rates are low and considering recent fuel rates hike, the money that these auto-drivers are getting is less, then the Govt should increase the meter rates, rather than quietly supporting such mal-practices.
