Insurance Claim - Hanging

We had transported our household goods on 29.10.2009 from a reputed transporter - DRS Agarwal Packers and Movers from Bangalore to Vadodara. It reached on 3rd Nov and had substantial damage to various items (more than 25 items damaged) total packages transported 123.

The damage is worth more than Rs 35000.00. Now, The company person in Vadodara is everyday telling one thing - I have sent to HO, awaiting reply. Made an online complaint about the same, no reponse or acknowledgement of the complaint. Online system does not generate any numbers to record or ref for future.

Even spoke to Mr. Agarwal their MD, he said, people in RO are making a story and they should settle.

This seems to be an unprofessional approach from such a reputed company. They take insurance money and advance for consignment. However, they do not keep upto their promises.
