Wrong delivery of parcel

A parcel containing LG Vacum cleaner was sent by SBI Card people from Chennai on 28-07 under Ref. No : 700795386 to be delivered to Mr. Mohammad Afzal, 291, Nasheman, 16-3-993/A/B, Malakpet, Hyderabad - 500 024 Cell 9948296015. I have been in regular touch with the SBI Card People in this regard. Today on knowing that still I did not recieve the said parcel they furnished me the details of courier, Ref. No, Date, Hyderabad office contact numbers of courier etc., to check up the matter with them. When contacted, to my utter surprise, the Hyderabad office people informed me that the parcel was delivered to one "Mrs. Sulthana" with contact no:040-24533212. To my further surprise the said telephone no belongs to one Mr. Sathyanarayana who expressed his total ignorance of the parcel or any such thing. The response by the Hyderabad office people is very casual & they could not explain me as to how the consignmernt could be delivered to a wrong person whos residence & telephone nos do not match with that of the address on the parcel. On my pressing them hard they took all the details from me syaing they will let me know as to what went wrong in the delivery. I have reported the matter to SBI Card people and also making this compliant with you since I feel this to be very much irregular, irresponsible and looks to be malafide on the part of the concerned staff of your courier.
