Sub: Status of my Passport applied on 25th May. File Number-A038220 .Key No-

I applied for my passport on 25th May. My File No is A038220.My police verification was ok and so the online status showed that my passport has been dispatched on 18/08.

But later when I didn’t received it after 15 days I again went to Kolkata Passport office to check the status they said that your passport has come back due to wrong mailing address given.

The officer in charge told me to write an application to rectify the mistake that the Regional Passport Office had done.

I submitted my application stated that the passport to be sent in my correct address on 8/09/09 they told me to come after one week. When I went again on 16/09/09 they gave me a token also but after about 3hrs I came to know that they have not received any message from Delhi about my Passport. They said there is some other system which will implement from Delhi for which it will be delayed for 15- 20 days. I am very confused that what actually has happened with my passport.

I would kindly request you to look into the matter as soon as possible. Waiting for Ur Reply
