Status of my application with ref no: BLY-M000599-09

Dear Sir/Madame,

While i was travelling to Melbourne, Australia Last year my passport got stolen. I got a temporary passport, with 1 year's validity, made from the Indian consolate in melbourne. After travelling Back to India I have applied for the passport to be renewed (my file reference number is BLY-M000599-09) on 24th April. However till now there has been no progress in the case and it shows the status that police verification is still awaited.

I require the passport urgently as I mite need to travel back to australia. My passport has a valid work permit for the country.

Could you please look into it.
