Abrasive stitches in jeans

I bought three pairs of Pepe jeans in Chennai. With just one wash the stitches in the waist became poky and abrasive. It is very uncomforatble to wear although the fit is comortable and all that, the stitches around the waist make it extremely irritating and painful to wear.
