DG set AMC problem

We are ACG-World Group's one of the leading Pharma company located at Tarapuer.

We are having one query that, we have received the offer for AMC of our DG set model KTA 19 G4 from your Tarapur office. I would like to bring to your kind attention that, we had given AMC for the year 2009 (Which is still in effect), during this AMC period we observed problem with our Engine starter (Which is a "Air Starter"). No one has attended & solved the problem but instead just tried to open the starter (as CS Diesel personnel who visited our factory doesn't know about Air Starter at all many times).

As a result we lost our production out put by one shift (8hrs) & 16hrs in the month of November'08 & Jan'09 respectively. When we sent the starter for repair to CS Diesel Andheri, they said pay Rs. 3- & get back the starter (No issue about paying) but we lost the production due to starter problem. No one had suggested to repair or service the starter even though it was giving regular problem. But when it really failed to start then Mr. Vaidya says that "please send it for the repair". And then our person went to Andheri he was seating their for whole day, nobody said the amount will be Rs30000 or 40000. But directely they asks pay Rs. 3 How can any body pays Rs 32000 in cash at the moment???

I would like to know that, if DG was in AMC why should we pay labour charges for repair work, instead we should pay only spares charges as per the agreement. But we paid Rs. 4000/- as "LABOUR CHARGES". Hence I request you to clarify this issue.
