Delay for issuing cheque of MIS

My maturity date for MIS was on 19th sept in Goregaon (jawahar Nagar Post office), Mumbai. On regularly interacting with my agent - Kamini shah, I come to know that the person handling this is on leave and will be coming today. She also says that there are lot of payments delayed as that person is on leave from a month.

The other authorized person to whom the responsibility was given is also on leave. This was really absurd. Till today 23rd sept 08, I have not received my maturity amount and also lot other customers who are waiting from last one month for the payment.

There should be some system or some higher authority who takes care of this else this investment option needs to be stopped, if people do not get the amount on time.
