Surrendered number active again and Airtel asking for bill to be paid by me where as it is in use bt another person

This is in reference to mobile number 9910992289 that belongs to Delhi Circle, I had requested for the surrender of this connection in last week of January and to confrim the same when I called the customer care in mid of Feb they advised once I will clear the outstanding, it will be deactivated at the same time, I was not given any request number when I asked. After that I forget about it.

Now on May 06. I got bill for the same number, when I called I come to know that the number is in use by a different person who purchased this from Gurgaon Sec 25. I called Customer care and updated the same. Now As per customer care this number was never closed and is active. I updated them about the complete situation: now they are saying that I need to pay the outstanding amount then only the number will be closed.

I request you to please look into this and help me out.

Aslo another number 9818010228, that I used only for a month and then surendered, they are not ready to deactivate that as well.

I have logged a series of complaints with airtel 16591658, 16591945, 16590297 and have not find any suitable resolution till date.

Please help me in this
