I have taken the airtel broadband connection recently (number 044-42617327). I had applied for a plan change on 30.06.08 and i was told that the plan migration will be done on the next day or maximum day after that. I haven't received any feedback from your side until 5th and i've got a cal on 5th stating that the plan has been migrated. I have received my last month bill some 12 days back. I was shocked to see the bill i have been charged more. I cald up your customer care for clarifications, why am i charged more, the plan should have been converted by 1st of july or the worst case may be 2nd. when i asked them they said its mistake from the airtel side, they have logged in my plan conversion only on 3rd july instead of 30th july. i told them to reverse the amount charged from 1st july to 5th july. they cald and told me rs.601/- has been revised and you can pay bill reducing that amount. i told them very clearly i need a bill, so that i can make the payment. they said i will receive the bill within two days, i also told them that send me the bill before the due date so that i can pay the bill and avoid late payment feses. after two days one gentle man cald me and said my bill is due and i also told him the same. he also promised me that the bill be sent to me. finally on 16 th august i got a call as a reminder for my payment. and today i myself cald up customercare and asked them my due. they said rs.300 and odd is been revised. i was shocked. how come i got reply from your staff. why they are telling lies that rs.601/- is revised and rs.352/- is revised. why two different statements from your employees. customer care executive is telling me that it is not possible to send the reworked bill. why your staff didnt tell me this in the beginning itself when i asked for a bill. and today they gave me a complaint no.10625094 but nothing has happened so far. if this is going to continue, i'm not going to use this service. please take immediate action otherwise put me on to your higher officials. otherwise i would like to take up this with ombudsmen.
