To Whom So Ever It May Concern,
I own a broadband connection through your company with phone number 040-40150309.I want to bring to your notice the pathetic service I have received from your customer care team and the unwanted harassment I have been through in the past two months.
My Grievances:
I had called your customer care on the 7th of January from one of your outlets in Karkhana, Secunderabad. Asking for the service to be discontinued as the person who was using the connection has left the country. The customer care person told me that she would call back within the next 45 minutes as her system wasn’t working and had a network failure. As usual this didn’t happen as your customer care is well known for not living up to customer expectations.
At the end of the month, I received a fresh bill for that month for Rs. 811 which I never used. Why should I pay the bill amount when it the fault of your representative for not following up with the customer?
I call your customer car again and finally get hold of a person who doesn’t even know to speak English properly. Rather than getting my problem sorted, he kept asking me why didn’t I call back again if didn’t get any help in the first instance. Isn’t it the duty to you as a company to follow up with your customers rather than me trying to get hold of your guys??
He finally takes a request to cancel the connection and gives me a reference number and promises that the goods would be collected with the next five days which didn’t happen at all till date. Yet again a good example of the pathetic service from AIRTEL.
I had requested that the sum of Rs.500 which was taken as a deposit for the connection by your sales representative to be refunded as we have cancelled the connection. The customer care representative told me that this wouldn’t be refunded as it was a fee for broadband. WHY WAS I LIED TO AT THE POINT OF SALE BY YOUR COMPANY??
In the next few days I receive calls from 6 different managers from different cities trying to convince me to transfer the connection. I had to repeat the same old story to all the people but I guess they don’t understand what is being told to them. I DON’T WANT THIS CONNECTION at all. Don’t you guys understand that???
As I write to you I am so disturbed that I will spread the good word to all my friend and colleagues and let them know how you guys fool your customers.(There was a time where I was so pleased with your service that I had recommended you to almost 15 connections at my work place. I guess it was pure miss-judgment on my part.
ACTION REQUIRED:
I want a reply to this mail within the next 48 hours failing which I will be forced to send you a legal notice regarding the same.
I want my connection to be removed immediately without any further questions from anybody.
I want the bill amount of Rs. 811 to be removed and be given a written confirmation for the same.
I want the deposit amount of Rs. 500 to be refunded and require a written confirmation for the same as well.
You can contact me on 98852-54115 to explain the same but I don’t want some idiot who doesn’t even understand half what I’m saying to call for god sake.
I have sent a copy of this mail to the consumer forum as well.
