Airtel manipulating bills to force user to change plans

From past 1 year I am using airtel broadband connection and in my surprise suddenly from past 3 months monthly bills has jumped to 2 to 3 times whereas my internet usage is constant. And I started getting lot call from Airtel to change my existing plan to higher plans with reasons that my usage has been increased. Also I heard same issue from my friends/colleagues. So I suspect they are manipulating billing to force us to upgrade to their higher planes (dirty business tricks).
