Arbritary/Illegal termination of services

Dear air,
I have been using Airtel boradband services and my landline phone number for the same was 0120-4293391.
The company has a history of wrong billing and i too sufferred from it. To begin with, i was using Rs. 555 plan and i asked for the change of plan to Rs. 250 plan on 21st January but i was billed as per the earlier plan only for the next three months i.e. February, March and April and when i objected to it some waver was offerred to me and my phone line was reconnected in the month of may. However, after paying the bill well in time for the month of May, my services were terminated on 30th may without giving me any reason.
when i called up the customer care on 3rd July (Reference number 21594436), the person told me that your line is dead and we will get it checked by tomorrow. We waited till 6th July but no one turned up and then when we called up again (reference request number 21692846), they told me that it will be corrected by 7th July. The mental agony continued and when i called up again on 7th, after speaking to them for 35 minutes and after transferring my call from one department to another no one took the accountability and finally said that my number is redlisted and that it has been permanently disconnected. When i asked the reason for the same, i was told i was given a number 011-41814065 (Mr. Anant Jain) and asked to speak to him. He too failed to explain why the services were terminated and went on to ask me to apply for re-connection. When i said that how can you terminate my services for no rhyme or reason, he said he knows nothing more about it.
Can a company just terminate my services for no fault of mine and without assigning any reason? I am shocked and disappointed and want a legal action on the issue
