Fake information and services for DND (do not disturb service)

Hi, this is iqbal ahmed sarang and I am an airtel user with number 9967623578.

I had requested the company to activate DND service on my number as I was very much irritated by the promotional calls and messages by the company itself. (25-30 mesgs & calls everyday)

The company's procedure took 45 days to get activated, finally I got it done on 19th of jan made a request in the month of december but the promotional mesgs were still continiously hitting my inbox. I lodged a complaint again and the executive said it would take 10 days more and these things have been continuously repeated for a period of 25 days.

Finally I got my issue solved on 17th of february, but the xompany representative informs me that this is a service activated for the period of 3 months after 3 months u will again start recieving the promotional calls and messages. When I asked her why is it so she replied saying that it is companies policy.

I asked her abt the permannent solution of it and I got a complete silence on this question and irritating me she finally discontinued the call without the answer.

How long is the consumer going to suffer and when would we get the rights of the consumer and not be neglected by the executives like her.

The worst customer care service in INDIA award goes to AIRTEL mumbai.
