Deactivating of GPRS inspite of paying monthly charges

Sir,
I am a pre-paid customer of Airtel (UP West) and have also subscribed for their GPRS/MO services. To keep that active I am paying a monthly charge of Rupees Four Hundred and Fifty (450 INR) through their e-recharge.
As a matter of routine I e-recharged my account with the abovementioned 450INR on the due date, i.e. on the morning of Thursday, the 19th of November. I even have an SMS reciept/acknowledgement of the said transaction.
However, on the 19th November night my GPRS was deactivated with an SMS to that effect.
Further, I called up their customer care almost six times, struggled with them, but to no avail. The customer care executives who attend to the call seem to be from the pits, with stereo typed illiterate responses.
As a matter of fact, after making me go through the complete complaint they would tell me that I was being transfered to a senior executive to repeat my frustrations again; and the transfer would never materialize.
I have finally lost patience after a struggle of more than one hour.
Also, I would like to share that I am a V.P. for India and South East Asia for a British Multinational; and the GPRS service as well as time is of essence and value.
I hope some proactive step is taken to address my grievience.
Regards
