NEW LOCAL TRAINS

(i) It is highly unfair to RUN a LOCAL SERIES OF TRAINS only to cater to the needs of a few stations (SEALDAH- DANKUNI LOCALS) since last 70 years, . Situations were totally different in 1950s as of now.

SEALDAH-DANKUNI LOCALS (Eastern Railway) need to be extended to CHANDANPUR (Via H.B.Chord Line) with I M M E D I A T E effect, particularly to cater to the long-felt demand of crores of pilgrims who visit TARAKESWAR TEMPLE (After getting down at KAMARKUNDU), from the DISTRICTS of 24-Parganas (N S), NADIA, MURSHIDABAD etc.

There is no point to allow the RUN over only a few stations. It could easily cater to a large cross-section, with immediate effect.

(II) To please introduce TWO PAIRS of LOCAL TRAINS from BUDGE-BUDGE to BURDWAN (Via, Lake Gardens, Ballygunge, Dum-Dum, Dankuni on Eastern Railway) for the same objectives, in view.
