Hello,
Iam Rajasekaran from chennai, around a month back INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB call center employee called me and told that there is a holiday offer where in two persons will be provided with two nights and three days holiday voucher along with food and too and fro air ticket will be provided with absolutely free of cost (without not even charging one single paise extra) for Rs.3198. And also he asked to swipe our credit card in the IVRS mode.
To our utter shock we received a parcel books with invoice No.0RAJ00003132 for Rs. 3198/ against order No. 0GA100003543 INVOICE DATED 1/2 which we have never asked for. We have paid our money only for the holiday scheme not to buy your unsold books. Your call centre employee has fraduently sold the books in the disguise of selling of holiday package.
A email was also sent by the ITBC stating that everything is free for this amount.
Also iam deeply disturbed and upset that why a reputed company like INDIA TODAY which talks ethics in public life should indulge in cheating public to make his lively hood.
