Non-Receipt of Free Gift even after 1 yea

I have subscribed to "INDIA TODAY" for a period of 5 years through a Cheque # 859817 (Syndicate Bank, S.D.Road, Secunderabad). I was assured a free subscription gift- Adidas Outdoor Shoes within 12-14 weeks on commencement of subscription.

But 52 weeks later, there has been no response, reply or intimation of any sort about the free gift.

I have called up the customer care and spoken to Rosaline, Sapna, Rajender, Mohit, Abhishek Singh (executive customer care), Amitabh (executive customer care), at regular intervals. The standard reply i get everytime is "your gift will be dispatched in 2-3, 3-4 weeks time".

I am waiting for more than 1 year, and there is no sign of any free gift coming. Times Group executives..wake up and look into this.
