HACKING MY A/C

Someone has hacked my yahoo account and are sending abusive messages and defaming me through mails to all the people in my friends list. I'm not able to cancel my account as i'm not able to login and i don't know how to stop this. Please help me in stoping such mail from my yahoo account...
