Missing luggage

Sir,

This is to bring to your notice about the unconcerned and insensitive behaviour of autodrivers who exist in almost every part of the city.

I had a personal experience with an auto driver who is not at all concerned about his customer.

On 22/August, i travelled in an auto from nanganallur (market) to madipakkam (balaiya garden). While getting down at my sister-in-laws house, i missed my handbag in the auto. I took all the other luggages except for my handbag which had some

expensive items. i realized after couple of minutes, by then the auto had disappeared. Due to heavy rains, the auto driver insisted me to get down fast, so i missed the handbag that i had placed at the back of the passenger seat near the back window.

I expected that the driver would return and hand me my handbag as he knows the place where dropped me (my sister-in-law's house). But till now he has never turned back.

Though there is mistake on my part, the driver, if he had been a honest man, could have handed my bag at the earliest.

Please ensure that this does not repeat in the future. Make a strict rule that any posession that are missed by mistake should be handed to the nearby Police station or to the concerned person immediately.
