Delay in issue of New Ration card

Dear Sir,

I have applied for ration card in the month of OCtober ' 2009. Verification is done. We still did not receive the ration card. Whenever we go to the office and inquire, same reply comes sayign ration card is in printing. this reply is coming for more than 3 months. Will it take 3 to 4 months for printing? COIMBATORE collector has given information in news papret hat New ration card will be issued in 2 months. Now it is more than 6 months.
