Illegal contruction in front of MCD dispensary

This is bring to your notice a serious concern which has become a matter of concern for the residents of Lane no 1, Ansari Road, Darya Ganj, New Delhi. This is about an unauthorized structure (Jhuggi) standing right infront of MCD dispensary at 4214/1, Ansari Road, Darya Ganj, New Delhi-110002.There are illegal activities been carried out by Moti Ram who is currently residing in this Jhuggi.

Few years ago when all the jhuggies were demolished and removed by the authorities from the area then only one jhuggi was left untouched reasons best known to the authorities.

Since then the man Moti Ram, occupant of this Jhuggi has been carrying out unauthorized construction at various time during the middle of the night while the lights are switched off so that this activity is not noticed by anyone.

There were 3-4 fully grown trees out of which 2 have been fully cut and removed .rest have been cut vastly and are live proofs with their main trunks still there.

He has been able to built a big structure openly on the Govt piece of land which perhaps is the land owned by the MCD Deppt. The whole structure has been built without taking any permission from the town planning as no layout has been approved till date. He has 2-3 water connections which again arises a question how.

We the resident of the Gali no 1, Darya Ganj, need an explanation and immediate action on this issue. If this matter is not taken seriously now, then we pledge to sensationalize the matter infront of the media and the higher authorities. We hope that appropriate action will be taken with respect to this and look forward to a positive response as this is no more acceptable to anyone now. This Jhuggi needs to be demolished with immidiate effect.
