Harassment about the Policy premium completion

Sir,

I had purchased three Postal Life Insurance Policies no. (1) 415755-P, (2) RJ-289-T (3) RJ-381-T from the Department of Posts Rajasthan Circle Jaipur in the years 1980 and 1986. The preimiums of all these three policies were regularly deducted from my salary directly every month since the purchase of the respective Policies. Now the Postal Department is telling that they have not posted the premium receipts in their records and are asking me to bring certificates from my Department that the premiums had been deducted since the year 1980 and 1986 respectively and had been sent to them.

My problem is that being a Central Govt Officer I was posted at various places durig these years and it is herculean task to obtain such certificates. The officials odf Postal Department have deliberately not posted the preiums in thewir ledger with a view to harass the policy holders and are having the intentions of EXTORTING money to get the recor completed.

Here the moot point is that If the premium was not received by them then why the policies were not terminated as per rules and notices were not sent to me as per Govt. Rules.

On personally contacting Mr. Kartar Singh ADM of Postal Department JAIPUR (Raj) misbehaved badly with me and tried to avoid his duties and the higher officers even are not prepared to meet me. The preimum of one of the policy.

Sir,

I have paid the premiums of the policies out of my hard earned salaries and I am shocked to hear such careless and unlawful reply from the postal officials. These corrupt officials are in fact avoiding their duties unless they extort the money from the policy holders.

Kindly help us in the matter.
