Loss of MIS pass book

I am a Armed services personnel. I had opened a MIS a/c of 15000/- in the year 2006 at Agra. My a/c no is 9040309. I got transferred to Hyderabad in the year 2007. I deposited my MIS passbook at the post office at Dundigal-500043 in Apr. However till date the post office has not given me my passbook nor issued a new one. I am posted out from Hyderabad and it has become very difficult for me to pursue the case. I had written to the postmaster general AP circle Hyderabad in march. Their office had sent me a reply with a copy to senior supritendent of post offices, Secunderabad Division to give a a suitable reply to the complaint. Five months have passed the reply is still awaited. If this is the attitude of our post offices to redress the grievances of the customers then our faith in this esteemed organisation will start waning.
