Sub: complaint against Post Man for Rohini C8, New Delhi.

Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter to you after years of harrasement at the hand of our area post man who seeks undue rewards in terms of cash money every now and then. seeking money for festive occasions like new year, diwali and holi is his common practice. he seeks an amount which he determines and if we refuse to pay him that he mishandles our mail and looses it. there have been so many occasions where we just don't receive our mails as he intentionally misplaces it.

Today i received my passport and he asked me for a sum of Rs. 101, when I refused him saying that its his duty to deliver these documents to my address and that this is not a favor to me, he said that if this is my behaviour in future I will not receive my mail in time and my important documents can be lost or misplaced. This was ourtrageous! we as residents of this colony feel helpless at hands of this postman who takes undue advantage of our dependence on him for our mails.

Hope you will order an inquiry or any kind of action as you deem fit on this as soon as possible and detail me in this regard otherwise I will be forced to take an untoward step by RTI or court of Law towards corruption which is Killing every Indian till grass root level even at such high prestigious and old departments of POST and I will also intimate everyone of my knowing circle which may cause great inconveniences to the reputation of the Postal Department.

I hereby implore you to please look into the matter as soon as possible and take the neccessary action in favour of the citizens of this colony and sincerity in Indian postal services.
