Clever non-delievery of parcel

Sir,

EM710110265IN was booked on 12th April by Fisher Price India to be door delivered to my residence in Marathahalli. But the post-office person, came over and handed over a letter to me telling that it should be collected from the post-office. In the letter, the reason was stated as "recipient not present in the house during the first time of delivery". A blatant lie. Can it be arranged to deliver properly?
