Birth not allotes despite 1 RAC

Dear Sir,

I was travelling from Mumbait to indore by train no. 2961 Avantika Express in 3AC starting from Mumbai with my wife Padma Mahajan. Date of departure from Mumbai was 23-June. I contacted the TTI three times, but he did not provide me the birth. When in the morning I checked with my co-passenger about the birth he was allotted the birth, he was also in RAC. I had applied for the no. of tickets cancelled via RTI (application enclosed). But till date I have not been supplied the information after appeals.

Dear Sir,

I would like to know the following information from your good office.

Total Number of tickets cancelled after preparation of chart for the train and journey date as mentioned,

Train name and number : 2961 Avantika Express starting from Mumbai

Date of departure from Mumbai : 23-June

Class: AC-III

I have paid RTI fee Rs.10/- at RTM, RJQ receipt number. Z 783834 dated 06/07/’10. Receipt enclosed for your kind reference.

Do I need to do furnish anything at my end to seek this information, under Right To Information (RTI), kindly do let me know.
