DEVELOPMENT OF R.R.NAGAR PARK

Public park in R.R.Nagar is NOT AT ALL DEVELOPED. It is being used as an annexe of Function Hall of Kapu Welfare Association. As per the agreement of Municipal Corporation and the "Kapu Welfare Association" and as per the Govt. Order (GO Ms. No.497 dt. 12.11. certain conditions for development of Park by Kapu Welfare Association are stipulated:

1. Fountain with Aquarium fishes

2. Beutification by lighting arrangement

3. Providing of Care Taker and Gardeners

4. Cleanliness with utmost priority, etc.

It is being used as a Parking Lot and is not accessable to the people of the colony. Inspite of several requests and petitions to The Commissioner, there is NO ACTION FROM THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. We are afraid that the Public Land is being diverted to Private people.

ALSO, THE ROADS AND OTHER AREAS AROUND THE FUNCTION HALL IS BEING DEVELOPED (where there are no houses and NOT USEFUL FOR PUBLIC) BY THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AT THE EXPENSE OF PUBLIC MONEY.
