Mumbai customs EMS parcel from Japan has been in the custom for more than4 months

Hi

My EMS parcel from Japan containing few pens as gifts has been dispatched from Japan on 13th october.

Till today 13th January the parcel has not reached me.

The EMS tracking number is EJ128859826JP

Online tracking info says that the parcel is in Mumbai Customs from 15th October.

It has been 4 months now the parcel has not reached me. They have also not send any paper or notice about the tax or anything.

I called the Mumbai customs so many times but they dont pick up the phone.

What is going on? I dont understand. I asked the local post office in Pune, but they dont know anything..they say.

These people just blame each other and nobody takes action nor any responsible behavior.

The most shocking part was that when I told the local post office that parcel was a gift and has not arrived yet, they said that it is just a gift so dont worry it will come someday...

I was like wtf... this is really giving me lot of frustration..

Im ready to pay tax, any fees but the parcel whereabouts are not aware no body knows about it..no one tells about it..

this is pathetic service..how long we Indians are going to bear this... it is time for revolution..im serious these people dont work so unprofessional..if like this attitude is there We Indians cannot go ahead of any country (we still dont have fast trains and subways..shame on us..underdeveloped countries will also have them soon...)

any advice of contacting those customs in Mumbai to get the parcel will be realy helpful
