DELAY IN VERIFICATION

My NSC got matured on 13.02.12. These NSC was purchased from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Well before on 04.01.12 the xerox copies and a request for verification was placed at Patna G.P.O. Now patna G.P.O has forwarded our request on 06.01.12.

On 13.02.12 when i asked aout the maturity benefit the reply received that verification is still pending from Vashi.

As a customer i want to know why it can not be at right time and the delay from Vashi G.P.O is a regular issue or any follow up tracker need to be established for self reminder without harassing customers.
