Status of Passport Application

My wife and I applied for passports on 6th May. Reference numbers are :-

KAPPALA SAM ARMSTRONG HYDE002643-10

BUSI ROSY KRUPA RAJITHA HYDE002642-10.

On checking the status on the website, it indicates that the police verification report is not received.

I have checked with the concerned police station who informed that they have not yet received the verification forms yet. As advised by the police, I have also checked from Cyberabad Police Commissionerate website at http://residential.appolice.gov.in/passvercyb/

On giving the above reference numbers, the status shows "YOUR FILE HAS NOT REACHED FROM PASSPORT OFFICE".

Two weeks back I filed a grievance in the Passport Office Website against the status result page.

There is neither any response nor an update.

Now it is over 6 months since applying.

We would be grateful if an update is provided and issue of passport is expedited.
