Worst hostel

Dear friends,

I just want to share our bad experience in Bharathy Ladies Hostel. We were staying in this hostel for past 8 months. As We were new to chennai at that time so searched hostel thru internet. We found that this one was the new hostel and owners also stayed in the same apartment. Finally me and my friends decided to stay there. Initially They showed too much of care on us. They used to take food in the night eventhough We came late. After that We came to know that They did everything for money. Initially 15 girls were staying there. After 1 month most of the girls used to come because it is very near to sirusri IT park. suddenly owners increased the rental amount from 3500 to 5000. Really We were shocked. One of our friend quarrelled with them for extra fees. Then They decided to keep the same amount for the girls who stayed there from starting. Very few girls alone paid 3500 rupees. They made a partitioning in Hall since most of the girls demand for staying. Again They increased the room rent 5000 to 5250. This fees was common for all. Then They shifted their place to Oak tree. At that time We felt very bad because They are money minded. At first the food was somewhat ok. The cook people also speak very well with us. Sometimes we dont like hostel food like pongal kichadi at that time They used to give hot water so we ate noodles most of the times. Owner came to know these things. They sent out the cook. New cook came and he prepared in very less qty for 96 girls. But it was enough for us. He was making vada with 1kg dhal. half of the vada was taken to owner's house. We complained owner about this so many times but He told us to take the food early. We dont know where to go and stay so we were idle.

Moreover this hostel is not a registered one. Area is very worst. Most of the construction people are staying near the hostel. They used to comment the girls. Very very very worst hostel in India. Owners are greedy of money. We should pay the rental amount before 3rd of every month. else we need to pay penalty amount of 100rs per day. EB charge will be included seperately. AC room charged 8000 rs per head. But girls are not going to use the AC on whole day. One more thing is, They have taken few flats for lease in Oak tree apartments. They are running hostel in those flats. 6000rs per head for Non AC and 8000rs for AC without food. They are not paying commercial bill for EB. Government should take necessary action on this. Please We are requesting to take action. Please help us to change some new hostel.
