GMADA Mohali 2010
Non refund of earnest money

I had submitted an application bearing registration no 148832 alongwith a demand draft for Rs 240000.00 as earnest money for allotment of 200 sq yards plot on 26-06.

The result of the draw of lots was declared on 07-10.My application was unsuccessful.

GMADA was to deposit the refunds of unsuccessful applicants in the accounts specified by the applicants at the time of application.

Till date I have not received my refund.

GMADA has given a helpline number on their site 0172-6533398.This number does not exist.

The company has earned a substantial amount as interest on the money deposited by people like me. It is their duty to ensure that the money is refunded properly as agreed upon at the time of application.
