Non refund of money against cancelation of flat

I booked a few flats with Godrej Gardencity in Ahmedabad last year. I wanted to cancel one of the flats that I booked with them. The booking amount was Rs. 5 lacs which is not a small sum and I canceled my flat because I was in urgent need of my own money. I sent a cancellation request on 11th November. I was told (both verbally and in written) that my money would be refunded in 30 days of time.

It is over 60 days today and I have not heard from Godrej Gardencity despite written reminders to them. This is the kind of pathetic customer service that Godrej Gardencity provides.

My money is stuck with them and no one cares to respond ot do anything about it. When I finally got to speak with the person who accepted my cancellation, he said that they had some cheque printing problem due to which they could not print my cheque on time. I do not believe that such a big builder and such a huge township does not even have funds to ensure that such minor faults are sorted on time and customers are not affected.

I am extremely dissatisfied and I am withdrawing all my investments from Godrej Gardencity.
