BIG BUILDER HARRESSMEMTS

Even in today, an ISO accredited professionally managed real estate group has an audacity to cheat its customers on their face in broad day light. I am talking about builder Goel Ganga.

We booked a 2BHK flat in Goel Ganga’s “Ganga Sparsh” in June at Rs.2700/sqft. We had paid a booking amount & have rate confirmation documented. We were told that the agreement will take place by 15th June for which we drew our PF & other savings and even got the DDs prepared. This date of deferred many times & finally the DDs lapsed in 6 months. Finally last week, on follow-ups we were told that the project is getting shelved. On further probing the next day we were told that agreement will happen anytime soon but will be done at a new rate. Their new rate disclosed is Rs.3500 /sqft i.e. Rs.800 extra per sqft.

This is against all the norms of business. How can after agreeing to a deal & accepting booking amount, an organisation go back on their commitment after 8 months. In these 8 months, we have not just lost the interest money but also an opportunity to invest in other projects at the rate that were available than.

As an educated consumer who is aware of their rights, we should not accept this fraud.
