I am staying at 670, Usha Nagar extension. The colony people in and around the street in which our plot is located, have concretised their roads thus lifting the height of their road level. Hence the said plot and the surrounding plot areas are low lying thus giving problems during even the lightest rains. It is unfortunate that the engineers incharge of making theseroads are not aware of this. None of the roads was made with rain water drainage. Water naturally stagnates in the low lying area. The local conuncillor hasn't bothered to address this issue. Further to this, the recent laying of new Narmada lines have made it like a undeveloped village. The work is not done fully as far as the closure and levelling of the soil is concerned. Hence mounds and heaps of soil and stones are lying around. This increases the d ifficulty during rains. My request is that before monsoon rains, some measure can be taken by the IMC or the local councillor to address this problem.
