Noise Pollution

Govt. has taken good iniative and introduce CNG - taxi / rickshaw to reduce air-pollution in Mumbai. however one fact was completely ignored that is Noise pollution due to gas engin.

Most of rickshow on mumbai road are haveing CNG Gas engin and same are making lot of noise on the road, our building is very close to the New link road, and due to this noise pollution we can not sleep peacefully at Night.

the concrete road surface has added more fuel to increse the noise pollution, bcoz of rigid it creates more noice. Noise level on the road during night is much more than the specifed by " The Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules"

Authority sud cover the road surface with TAR coating to reduce the noise. also take some step to reduce to the noise level of CNG engine.
