Leakage from the terrace

Hi, I stay on the top floor of a building, last monsoon we had water leakage problem from the terrace and parapeet area. we wrote to the society and also had a general body meeting regarding the repair of the terrace premises. The society members did not agree to carry out repairs as they are not facing the water leaking problem. Please let me know under what clause we can force the society to carry out repairs.
