EXCEL water purification plant
No after sale suppor, poor customer care

I have installed a water purification plant from a firm called EXCEL... The name of the guy who carries out the business is one Mr. Joy from Tiruvalla (as he said). The day of installation was itself very bad... it was so unprofessional that they did not even visited the location where this had to be installed to find out what all arrangements are made... I had to spend almost 1200 bucks on that day unnecessarily because of this carelessness by these people. Anyway, they have installed it and went.. The bill showed 5 years warranty. They said they would come and do the routine clearing [ back wash] for the first three times.. thereafter we have to do it.. But nothing would be required to be changed in the first five years... I paid Rs.13k for this and had to spend another 3k for making a stand and all to keep it working..

It has been over 2 years..nobody has turned up yet... not even once after this was installed. I have done the backwashing myself... but after 2years.. this one got blocked... I could not get this guy on the mobile number I had... but on one day this guy called me and said that they are coming for service which is done YEARLY!! I wondered.. I asked him why he did not come until now.. the answer was so disgusting.. he said he had lost my number!!! (then how did he get it now??!!!) Anyway, I got to know why he had called me .. he wanted to give a reference to a lady in my locality who had contacted him for installing this unit... So he wanted to say good comments.. I have told him that unless they clean the unit and correct the block I would not recommend.. Then he sent his men... and they when visited said that it require additional materials... They spoke to him over phone about it.. and said would come next day... its been months now.. no news!!!

These people are real cheats... beware and stay away from them... if you do not want to take unnecessary headache by using their product..
