Gas Emission - Toxic Smell

For the past few days (about March 10 onwards) the Sindhi society/Chembur naka area has been engulfed with acrid, foul and dense ammonia stench.. from the RCF fertilizer factory obviously.

This stench is overpowering during the late morning hours (say about 8.30/9.00 am till about noon 1/2 pm.

This Government (whether State or Centre) has obviously not heeded any plaints/petitions/complaints/ pleadings in the past..

I do not know of any Single truly "arms-length" survey that the Govt has conducted which captures the true situation on the ground here and the impact that it has had on people's healths here... mostly they wish to only hear the RCF rant about how "all is ok" and "there is no pollution" rubbish that the Company officials routinely feed the Govt as well as the people.

What are they waiting for? Another Bhopal to happen???
