Bharat Gas - unprofessional people

Hi,

I applied for new connection of Bharat Gas from Ghaziabad Brij vihar.

When i asked them how much time will take take so they told me that i will take 1 month for verification. When i asked them why it will take 1 month then they have no reasons. Also, when i asked them that what all document do you need at the time of verfication then also they didnt told us anything.

As 1 month is not a short duration and one cannot eat from out side for whole 1 month so i borrowed a cylinder from my relative for time being till i get the new connection.

After a month when i didnt got any call from Bharat gas and nor anyone came for verification, i called them and asked for the progress then they told me that next day someone will come for verification and will give you a call before that after 2 days a came for verification without giving any call (so if by chance you are not at home that time so you dont when your turn will come next).

At the time of verification he checked that i had gas stove and cylinder. I asked him that now in how many days will i get the connection so he told me that if you already have a cylinder then you wont get any connection, so i told him that i had bought this cylinder from my relative for time being. But still he didnt told me anything. After 2-3 days when i didnt got any reply from their side i called them to ask the status so they told me that you already have a cylinder. i Again told them that i have taken that from my relative and no one can my family cannot eat out side for whole month. Then he told me that if have problem come to my office.

These people are so unprofessional. First of all they take such a long time to make verification for such an urgent requirement and that too they dont tell us what all we would require at the time of verification and they come without calling you (dont even ask for your time of availability) and if you are working and are not at home at that time then again wait for another month. They dont provide you the solution on phone. First go to their office then they will give you the solution.

If they can do the veification in a 2 days or within a week any body can wait for such time but for one month we cannot ask our families to eat outside daily 3 times a day.

Whats the problem in telling customers in advance that you would require A, B, C documents. This will make things easier for customers as well as for bharat employees as well.
